We practise in the Dell Farquharson Centre, Netherton Broad Street, Dunfermline on Thursday evenings from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. exceptions to this are at Christmas and the month of July and part of August. At present we have approximately 45 members. Ages range from 7 years old to 80+ Our orchestra consists of fiddles, accordions, mandolin, cello, bass and keyboard. Anyone interested in joining and can play at an intermediate to advanced level, can come for one or two practises to ascertain whether or not they would like to join.
Joining Fees are currently £15 for playing adult £5 for Juniors under 18 years old. We also offer an Associate membership at £10. This entitles attendance at any rehearsal for interested members of the public. Our Associate members say that it is great, it is like a concert when they attend and they are made to feel welcome. |
